Prefire in CS2: Training Position Preaim on Yprac
Prefire is shooting an angle before the enemy is even visible — your crosshair is already where they'll appear. The metric is Preaim (Crosshair Placement, in degrees): 12.4° at 1k Premier, 10.5° at 10k, around 8° for top players. The smaller your adjustment angle, the earlier your shot fires — and that comes from knowing the angles, not from reflexes. On Yprac maps the bots stand in real positions; 15 minutes on one map per session.

Pre-aim on common angles: you pre-set your crosshair on the head where an enemy usually stands and fire as you push through. Muscle memory for real peeks.
How to train it
Map: Yprac Hub (search the Workshop) → Prefire mode, 64+ routes, all active-duty maps. Bots stand in typical hold spots; reaction and count are configurable. There are no separate "yprac prefire {map}" maps anymore — it's all inside the Hub.
Settings: in Yprac Hub, bots and route reset are controlled from the menu. For custom practice: sv_cheats 1; bot_kick; bot_add_t / bot_add_ct; mp_roundtime 60; mp_warmup_end.
Routine (15 min): 1. 2 min warm-up: run a familiar route on medium difficulty. 2. 10 min on one route: run ONE push (e.g. T entry onto A) 8-12 times. Crosshair at head level BEFORE the peek → peek → click. Goal — clear the whole route with no misses. 3. 3 min check run at higher bot speed.
Common mistakes: crosshair low instead of at head level; running and shooting without a micro-stop; running random angles instead of one real route; training map memory (where the bot stands) instead of the peek mechanic — swap routes between sessions.
Metric: clean runs of one route in a row, no misses.
