CS2 Tracking: a 10-Minute Aim Botz Drill
Tracking means keeping your crosshair glued to a moving target. It's an underrated skill — most enemies in a match are on the move, yet almost everyone trains only static aim. Ten minutes on Aim Botz with bot movement enabled give you what a plain aim map can't: steady damage on moving targets. You'll see the shift in your Head Accuracy and first-contact accuracy.
How many minutes of this drill do you actually need? DrillMaster decides from your matches — and schedules it when it pays off most.

Teaches you to track a moving target and keep your crosshair on the head while the enemy strafes. Wins close- and mid-range duels against players who move a lot.
How to train it
Map: "Aim Botz - Aim Training (CS2)" — use the in-map button to enable strafing (moving) bots. Even better — "Yprac Hub (CS2)" → Aim Trainer → Tracking mode with procedural targets. Both work in CS2.
Settings: • Your real sens and crosshair. • Infinite ammo + moving bots. • Important: bot_mimic is NOT for tracking (the bot copies YOUR movement) — use the map's built-in move mode.
Routine (10 min): 1. 1 min warm-up on static targets. 2. 5 min tracking in short bursts: AK/M4, follow the strafe with your crosshair, 2-3 bullets at a time, crosshair NEVER lagging behind the head. 3. 3 min close range: let the bots get closer — angular speed is higher there, so tracking is harder. 4. 1 min cool-down: smooth tracking, no panic.
Common mistakes: shooting behind a moving target; long sprays instead of bursts; jerking the mouse instead of tracking smoothly; watching the body instead of tracking along the head line.
Benchmark: your damage against moving targets in matches shows up in your Head Accuracy and first-contact accuracy. There's no hard kills/min target.
